As a Junior Accountant at Regista, you will:

Monitor daily bank balances and post bank statements

Record accounting documents (receipts, supplier invoices, employee expense reports) accurately and on time

Prepare and execute supplier payments in line with internal approvals

Support month-end close and reporting activities, including reconciliations and basic schedules

Assist in preparing statutory filings (returns/financial statements) under Romanian regulations

Contribute to budgeting and forecasting by preparing data extracts and simple templates

Archive and organize financial documents in accordance with policy and audit requirements.

Prepare supporting documents requested during audit engagements

Participate in process-improvement initiatives within the finance team

Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and flag variances

What about you

Bachelor's or Master's studies in Economics/Accounting (completed or in progress – Academy of Economic Studies or similar)

Basic knowledge of accounting and Romanian regulations (OMFP 1802), invoices, payments, and VAT concepts

Working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/S, Pivot Table)

Familiarity with accounting software (entry-level is fine)

Strong attention to detail, good organization, and a proactive, learning mindset

Team player with clear, concise communication in Romanian and English

Prior internship or up to 1 year of experience in finance/accounting is a plus, not a must
