About the Role

At CLA Romania, as a Junior Controller you will assist the Internal Accounting &Controlling Department make sure the right checks are in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Operational Activities
  • Archives documents both physically and digitally;
  • Downloads documents required for automated processes (invoicing, taxes, internal reporting);
  • Uploads and processes accounting documents on the platform used;
  • Manages official documents (e.g., ANAF documents, tax certificates, attestations, etc.);
  • Prepares and executes payments to suppliers, taxes, and salaries;
  • Checks balances and handles monthly reconciliation;
  • Analyzes and manages client/supplier requests;
  • Communicates with suppliers/clients to clarify operational and financial matters;
  • Provides support in collection activities;
  • Actively participates in the monthly closing process;
  • Supports internal analysis on processes: expenses, revenues, cost/profit centers, clients, targets;
  • Contributes to process improvement and automation;
  • Responds to requests and tasks according to the company's operational needs.

  • Complies with internal procedures and legal regulations in all performed activities;
  • Maintains confidentiality and information security;
  • Collaborates efficiently with company teams;
  • Provides support in group projects;
  • Participates in training sessions and professional development activities.

What We're Looking For


• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting as minimum university qualification, Master degree would be desirable (preferable ACCA)


• 1+ years of experience in Finance & Control, previous Consultancy experience would be an advantage


• Proactive, challenging and positive approach in terms of problem resolution


• Knowledge and exposure to international accounting issues and reporting requirements


• Proficient advanced PC user (MS Office, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, data basis exploitation)


• Fluent in English, both writing and speaking
