Romania - Junior Account Security Analyst

Role description

The Junior Analyst is responsible for working on Security escalations, monitoring, analyzing and assisting Incident Leads to larger scale account security related patterns. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of user accounts and sensitive information through proactive detection and mitigation of security risks. Junior Analysts also are tasked with increasing their domain knowledge within/outside scope of the team which contribute to the Account Security Capability mission.

This role provides a hybrid way of working with an onsite presence of 2 days/week.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties 

Analyze account access patterns to identify suspicious or unauthorized behavior who come from internal (Customer Service, Privacy etc.) and external (Partners, Guests) escalations (Partner/Guest Account Takeovers, machine learning based alerts), in alignment with Account Security policy, to ensure external regulatory obligations are met

Manage user access requests and permissions in accordance with company security policies 

Escalate Account Security topics internal (Customer Service, Privacy etc.) and external (Partners, Guests) escalations (Partner/Guest Account Takeovers, machine learning based alerts), in alignment with Account Security policy, to ensure external regulatory obligations are met

Assist incident leads and managers during the Account Security incident response, according to the incident response and retrospective policy

Role Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Operations Ownership

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
