What we're looking for

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and people-oriented People Operations Specialist
to be the heart and face of our company. This is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys connecting with others, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping the day-to-day employee experience, from welcoming new hires and managing office operations to supporting HR and admin projects. You will help foster our company culture, ensuring that our workspace (physical and virtual) reflects our energy, creativity, and values.

As part of a fast-growing startup, you will wear many hats and work closely with both our People team and the wider business. This is a great opportunity to build foundational skills across People operations, and office management in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and approachable, a true team player who loves being the go-to person for making things happen and making others feel supported.


What you'll do

  • Be the friendly face of the company, welcoming visitors, greeting new hires, and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including supplies, facilities, vendor coordination, and creating a comfortable, inspiring workspace.
  • Support People Operations with administrative tasks such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, benefits administration, and HR system updates.
  • Assist with talent acquisition activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Support the Finance team with gathering documentation and performing data entry for payroll and other employee-related expenses.
  • Help organize company events, celebrations, and employee engagement initiatives that bring our culture to life.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for visitors or team offsites as needed.
  • Support general administrative projects, including document management, scheduling, and communications.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to roll out initiatives related to culture, wellness, and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and policies, keeping employee and company information accurate and up to date.
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to assist with vendor invoices, purchase orders, and office budgets when required.
  • Represent our values in everything you do, being our "culture champion" and an example of the company spirit.
  • Oversee and coordinate Health & Safety (SSM) and Occupational Health (Medicina Muncii) programs, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and maintaining a safe, healthy workplace environment.


What you'll bring

  • A university degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR, admin, or office management role.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming, people-first environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; you love keeping things running smoothly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you enjoy connecting with people and helping solve their needs.
  • A proactive approach; you see what needs to be done and make it happen.
  • Comfort using digital tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and HR systems.
  • Fluency in English and Romanian.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup; flexible, curious, and ready to roll up your sleeves for whatever the day brings.
