We're looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
to maintain and improve SVGator's stable cloud infrastructure. You'll work on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure security, reliability, and scalability, while driving automation and efficiency across our systems.

Key requirements:

  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) - EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway
  • Security management in AWS - IAM, VPC, networking & best practices
  • Docker (building, optimizing, and troubleshooting images)
  • Managing workloads on Kubernetes (scaling, monitoring, securing workloads)
  • CI/CD pipelines in self-hosted GitLab
  • Ability to write in Bash, Python & automation scripts
  • Monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, QA, and operations
  • A mindset focused on automation, scalability, and reliability

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with PHP application environments and deployment workflows
  • Experience supporting or optimizing front-end applications
  • Knowledge of React and frameworks such as Gatsby for static site generation and modern front-end builds
  • Understanding of MySQL administration, optimization, and backup strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and improve scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS)
  • Build and optimize Docker images for applications and services
  • Operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines in self-hosted GitLab
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline delivery
  • Set up and monitor alerting and logging systems (CloudWatch)
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployments and runtime environments , PHP)
  • Implement security best practices for containers, Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuously improve infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
