is looking for a
Site Assistant
for a railway project in
Timisoara, Romania.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to oversee and coordinate earthworks activities on highway construction sites.
  • Manage sub-contractors by monitoring and controlling performance according to weekly and monthly targets.
  • Provide on-site assistance to ensure timely completion of assigned construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards and procedures by staff and subcontractors, adhering to legal regulations.
  • Supervise activities related to concrete structures, including minor bridges, overpasses, underpasses, and culverts.
  • Assist the Site Manager in developing work schedules and delivery plans for materials to maintain site activity continuity.
  • Provide detailed daily production reports to track costs and progress.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in construction management is a plus.
  • Over 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Language skills: Romanian (mandatory), English (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite..
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
