Bucharest, as a

BRANCH MANAGER

(shipping services)

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing market requirements and adapting sales strategies to maximize growth opportunities
  • Lead the forwarding operational team to provide customized solutions and meet the specific needs of customers in the logistics and transport sector;
  • Actively selling ocean and air freight forwarding services and building long-term partnerships with customers
  • Report regularly to Country Manager on sales progress, performance and market trends.

What makes you special for us:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry (sea and air)
  • Proven client acquisition and business development skills
  • Proven experience leading teams in a logistics, freight forwarding
  • Experience managing P&L, budgeting, and financial performance for a branch or region.
  • Ability to negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, customers, and agents.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies, cost optimization, and yield management.
  • Very good command of the English language (minimum B2) and Romanian language
  • Well-versed in all standard MS-Office applications
  • Readiness to travel
