CANDIDATE'S PROFILE

We are looking for an experienced Casualty Underwriter to join our team in Bucharest.

We are looking for an experienced Casualty Underwriter with at least 3 years of experience and a strong understanding of underwriting principles. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in English and MS Office (especially Excel). Experience with underwriting software and strong risk evaluation and time management skills are essential. The role involves both independent work and cross-country collaboration to share best practices.

DAY TO DAY TASKS – MAIN DUTIES

• Assessing and evaluating applications for insurance coverage on casualty line of business
• Determine if the application is acceptable and under what terms
• Establish policy terms and pricing
• Renew policies
• Process cancellations
• Provide support in reporting activities
• Collaborating in cross-country meetings to share and implement best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

List of requirements to be successful in the future role:

• University degree
• Minimum 3 years experience in casualty underwriting
• Good written and spoken level of English
• Very good knowledge of Office package, especially Excel
• Demonstrated knowledge of underwriting protocols, policies, procedures and best practices
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate risks, policies, and data, and identify potential issues
• Experience using underwriting software for various underwriting processes
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, and to effectively manage prioritization and time
