We, at HN Services Romania, are expanding our team, and we are looking for a new, experienced
Senior Java Developer with Big Data
who is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, to help us with the support and development of our projects.

Our mission on Data Lake is to build, implement and support new value-added services, to transform our existing deal processing technology platform and to migrate our data to Azure Data Lake, in alignment with target Enterprise Data Model.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Design and develop new features front to back as part of an agile/scrum team;
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions using modern development practices such as clean code, automated testing, monitoring, alerting and secure by design;
  • Provide L3 support on application in production environment, when needed;
  • Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;
  • Maintain and improve the continuous integration and delivery environments;
  • Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality features.

Profile Required:

  • Solid hands-on expertise with minimum of 6 years of: Java 11+, Spring boot, GIT, Maven, JUnit, Cucumber;
  • Strong experience with microservices, Kubernetes, JPA, OpenAPI, Kafka, RDBMS or NoSQL;
  • Working experience with big data technologies like HDInsight, Sqoop, HDFS, Spark, Hive, Flume;
  • Strong understanding of software craftmanship practices and system design: OOP, SOLID, design, CICD, TDD, BDD, Cloud patterns, Lambda architecture, Data Lake;
  • ELK reactive extensions, JS/TS, Angular or React, Azure IaaS/PaaS would be a plus;
  • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.

This role requires 2 time/week at the office- Bucharest
