We are looking for a Senior
Java Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
to join our team

What you'll do:

Design, develop and improve complex test automation frameworks for telecom systems. If you're passionate about building reliable automation solutions, thrive on solving challenging problems and excel at working independently, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities:


• Build and maintain
Java-based behavior-driven test automation frameworks


• Automation development for functional and non-functional testing


• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure quality at every stage


• Document your work thoroughly and drive testing initiatives proactively, beyond assigned tasks Must have requirements:


•
5+ years of Java development experience
, with a solid understanding of
OOP concepts
and design patterns


• Hands-on experience with
RESTful APIs


• Experience with Maven build system


• Familiar with version control systems (Git)


• Linux and bash scripting proficiency


• Solid
networking background
(TCP/IP stack, VLAN, subnetting, L1-L7 protocols) and using network analyzers such as Wireshark/tcpdump/tshark and understanding packet captures Senior Java Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Romania


• Organized, willing to document their work


• Self-starter, able to work independently and show initiative (we are not looking for someone comfortable with just executing tasks assigned to them)

Nice to have:


• Experience with Cucumber framework and writing scenarios using Gherkin syntax


• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks


• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins etc.)


• Familiar with databases (LDAP, PostgreSQL) and JDBC
