WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leave Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee leave, including vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and other types of absences
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to leave entitlements.
- Coordinate with managers to approve and track leave requests and manage leave balances in the payroll system.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain employee payroll and leave data in the HR/payroll system.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on payroll, leave balances, and other key metrics for management.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration of employee data
- Ensure smooth processes, effective and efficient communication with other departments;
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding, with a strong focus on delivering a positive and seamless experience for employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Oversee benefit administration and compliance with company benefit policies;
- Stay updated on HR industry trends and changes in labor laws to ensure compliance and be a source of guidance to the HR team and Management.
- Day to day mentoring and guidance to 2-3 more junior members of the team
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in Romanian payroll legislation – up-to-date knowledge is essential. Experience with multi-country payroll is a strong plus.
- Ability to implement new payrolls – from setup to go-live.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Solid experience with MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and social skills. Solid Excel skills – including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment – flexibility and adaptability are key.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Solution-oriented mindset – able to identify workarounds and propose improvements when needed
