Your Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable and high-quality Application Management (AM) services for SAP FI/CO in both S/4HANA and SAP R/3 environments, supporting multiple international customers.
• Provide functional and operational support for core SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (FIAP/AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Act as a primary contact for day-to-day system operations, incident and request management, and problem resolution across diverse system landscapes.
• Ensure system stability and process reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to analyze requirements and align SAP FI/CO functionalities with evolving business needs.
• Support and optimize financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, and year-end), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Execute and manage change requests, including SAP FI/CO customizing, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional issues by working closely with Basis, infrastructure, and integration teams.
• Ensure seamless data integration between SAP FI/CO and adjacent modules (e.g., MM, SD) as well as third-party systems.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, and apply preventive actions.
• Apply relevant SAP Notes, OSS solutions, and follow best practices in both S/4HANA and R/3 contexts.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participate in on-call support rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of SAP FI/CO processes and systems.
• Willing/motivated to be SAP certified (continuously).

Your Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO Application Management, ideally in both S/4HANA and SAP R/3 environments.
• In-depth knowledge of core SAP FI/CO modules, including: FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting and  CO: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and related CO functionalities.
  
• In addition to FI/CO, experience with SD + MM will be helpful.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management processes within ITILbased service environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and their technical implementation in SAP, including period-end closing and inter-module integratione.g., MM, SD).
• Experience with customizing and configuration in FI/CO and a good understanding of functional specifications and testing processes.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA innovations in Finance (e.g., Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Fiori apps) and transition scenarios from R/3 to S/4HANA.
• Ability to work in complex customer environments, including international setups and multi-system landscapes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, technical teams, and key users.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Already certified as SAP AM consultant is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations and to work in global delivery models.
