The Role
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and support the Member Site work stream for a major transformation initiative with an industry-leading US healthcare client. In this role, you will help deliver a next-generation digital member experience designed to guide care decisions, educate users, and empower smarter health and financial choices.
This is a greenfield project, giving you the opportunity to help define solutions from the ground up. You will work closely with the client during UK working hours, with frequent interaction to gather requirements, align on priorities, and support smooth delivery. What you will do
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals
- Build and maintain a product roadmap that balances business priorities, user needs, and technical realities
- Own and prioritize a well-structured product backlog
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to gather requirements, align expectations, and manage priorities
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements with engineering and design teams
- Write concise, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retros, refinement)
- Validate deliverables against requirements to ensure quality, performance, and readiness for release
- Identify and drive opportunities for iteration, optimization, and continuous product improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner
- Proven ability to write clear technical and functional requirements
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Strong experience with backlog and roadmap tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and diagramming/prototyping tools (Miro, Figma, Balsamiq)
- Deep knowledge of requirements management (user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, change management)
- Skilled in stakeholder communication, including status updates, demos, and executive reporting
- Familiar with prioritization methods (MoSCoW, RICE, WSJF)
- Strong ownership mindset with a high level of accountability
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (or similar) is a plus
- Good understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD, and release management processes
- Technical background is an advantage
