We're looking for a 
Tax Refund Coordinator
that would join our colleagues in our office in Bucharest- someone responsible, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator who's ready to take ownership of this important role in the team.

Job Requirements
Job requirements:

  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and high level of responsibility
  • Time management skills (working with a lot of deadlines)
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Native Romanian speaker, English on a conversational level
  • Previous experience in the Tax Refund area is a plus, but it's not mandatory
  • Adaptable person, open to change and committed to continuous learning

Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve Jira requests (TAXRO / TAXVATRO / TAXEDRO) including service activation, modifications, and closures.
  • Prepare and send client documentation for VAT and excise duty refunds (statements, POAs, registrations).
  • Verify and process external invoices and fiscal receipts for VAT refund; centralize and forward documentation to headquarters.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports; scan and archive documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team handling tax authority communication, ensuring clients provide necessary documents and receive timely updates.
  • Register and update vehicles in Aequitas (AEQ) with required client documentation.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to VAT and excise documentation.
  • Work as a team with sales representatives and cultivate valued and meaningful relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned region in the tax refund area.
