About Deepstash

Our micro-learning app helps people discover ideas from books, podcasts, and TED Talks in 5-minute sessions, and it now has over 5 million users. We like to think of ourselves as the "TikTok alternative for smart people".

We're a small team, looking for someone who can help us create ads that actually convert.

What you'll do:

Create video ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, from start to finish:

  • Write ad scripts
  • short-form, direct response copy for video ads (hooks, body copy, CTAs)
  • Edit videos
  • cut footage, add captions, music, transitions in CapCut or similar software
  • Develop creative concepts
  • research trends, come up with new angles and hooks that stop people from scrolling
  • Source or create footage
  • work with stock footage, UGC creators, in-app footage, and create AI content
  • Test and iterate
  • create multiple variations, analyze what's working, adapt based on performance data

Requirements

  • Copywriting experience
  • you've written ad copy before (especially video scripts for paid social media)
  • Video editing skills
  • proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
  • Basic performance marketing knowledge
  • you understand what makes people stop, click, and take action
  • Social media fluency
  • you know all the current trends and can adapt them to our products
  • English fluency
  • all our content is in English
  • Portfolio required
  • show us video ads you've created from start to finish

Job Details

  • Full-Time ( we are not looking for part-time or side-project seekers)
  • On-site (Bucharest, near Victoriei Square)
  • Flexible schedule
