Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright for web applications
  • Create and execute comprehensive test automation strategies for web applications
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing workflows
  • Write robust, maintainable test scripts covering functional, performance, and cross-browser compatibility testing
  • Implement automated testing for content management systems (CMS) and dynamic web applications
  • Monitor automated test execution, analyze results, and generate detailed test reports
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and continuously improve testing processes
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and provide technical feedback on testability

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with strong automation focus
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright
    for web automation testing
  • Proficiency in GitHub Actions
    for building CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns (Page Object Model, etc.)
  • Knowledge of API testing and integration testing methodologies
  • Experience testing content management systems (CMS), preferably AEM solutions
  • Understanding of modern software development practices (Agile/Scrum, DevOps)
  • Excellent English skills (both verbal and written)
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with additional automation tools (Selenium)
  • Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack)
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (Axe Dev tools Lighthouse,)
  • Experience with test case management tools (Xray)
  • Experience with additional CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Understanding of accessibility testing and WCAG guidelines
  • Knowledge of visual regression testing techniques
