Senior DevOps Engineer - Product R&D Team

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer within our Product R&D team, driving technical strategy and team development to accelerate product delivery, enhance system reliability, and foster continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute DevOps strategy aligned with product R&D objectives
• Drive initiatives that enhance product development velocity and quality
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to optimize delivery pipelines
• Establish metrics to measure DevOps effectiveness and product delivery performance

Technical Excellence

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for product development workflows
• Architect infrastructure solutions supporting rapid product iteration and experimentation
• Lead GitOps adoption using ArgoCD for automated deployment and configuration management
• Manage Kubernetes clusters with Helm charts for application packaging and deployment
• Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform for cloud resource provisioning
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability solutions

 Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with product-scale deployments
• Advanced Git proficiency and GitOps workflow implementation
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Kubernetes, and Helm charts
• Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker)
• Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Deep understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Communication

• Excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholders
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration within product development environments

Product & Business Acumen

• Understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Experience supporting product teams with infrastructure and deployment needs
• Knowledge of product metrics, experimentation frameworks, and feature rollout strategies

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product-focused technology companies or R&D environments
• Background in software development or product engineering
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) or cloud platform certifications
• Advanced Terraform certification or multi-cloud experience
• ArgoCD administration and advanced GitOps workflow design experience
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and service mesh technologies
