Mid Digital Workplace Technical Consultant

As a Mid-level Technical Consultant, you will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient digital workplace environments and tenant-to-tenant migrations using Microsoft solutions.

You will use tools and technologies such as Windows Admin Center, PowerShell, Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Azure Update Manager, Microsoft Defender and IaaS virtual machines. This role welcomes individuals with mid-level knowledge in any of the outlined areas, working alongside experienced IT specialists, security & networking experts, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless technology adoption, integration, and performance across the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design:
  Assist in designing and implementing architectural frameworks for modern digital workplaces aligned with Azure / Microsoft 365 and security best practices.
• Windows Server in Azure:
  Deploy, manage and troubleshoot.
• Tenant-to-Tenant Migration:
  Support the design of migration approaches for Microsoft 365 tenants, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal data integrity.
• Identity & Access Management:
  Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), implementing authentication, conditional access, and security policies.
• Endpoint Management & Policy Enforcement:
  Collaborate in designing Microsoft Intune solutions for managing EUC devices, applications, and security/compliance policies.
• Cloud-based Virtualization
  : Learn to optimize Microsoft Win365 cloud PC environments for scalable workstation deployment.
• Security & Compliance:
  Implement security policies with Microsoft Windows Defender and other endpoint protection solutions.
• Zero-Touch Deployment:
  Work on configuring Microsoft Autopilot for automated provisioning and seamless device setup.
• Collaboration & Productivity:
  Gain exposure to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint integration to enhance workplace productivity and collaboration.
• Windows 11 Deployment & Optimization:
  Develop standardized Windows 11 images for enterprise deployment and performance optimization.
• Documentation & Learning Support:
  Create technical documentation, participate in workshops, and contribute to knowledge-sharing across teams.

Preferred Background & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience
  as a Technical Architect or similar role with expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud computing, networking and security.
• Hands-on experience in designing, managing, and migrating M
  icrosoft Entra, Intune, Win365, Defender, Autopilot
  , and Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong background in
  identity management, endpoint security, and compliance frameworks
  .
• Experience (or interest in learning) in
  tenant-to-tenant migration methodologies
  , including planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
• Familiarity with
  PowerShell scripting
  for automation and deployment tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex architectural challenges

Any of the certifications below is a strong plus:

• AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals Certification
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of cloud concepts, core Azure services, plus Azure management and governance features and tools.
• MS-900 – Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
• Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft 365, to deliver productivity apps along with cloud services, and security, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Win365, Defender and Autopilot.
• SC-900 – Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge on security, compliance, and identity concepts and related cloud-based Microsoft solutions.
• AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate
• Demonstrate key skills to configure, manage, secure, and administer key professional functions in Microsoft Azure.
• AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Design and implement Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions.
• AZ-800 – Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Knowledge in deploy, implement, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server in Azure as well as migrating and deploying workloads to Azure.
• AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Knowledge of identity management, security, and compliance concepts.
