What you'll be doing:

As an Financial Reporting Specialist at Avon, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across our markets. You'll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date accounting records, preparing journal entries, and supporting month-end close activities. Your work will help ensure compliance with corporate standards and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. You'll collaborate with various teams across finance, tax, and internal controls to improve processes and share knowledge.

Key responsibilities:

What you'll be working on:

  • Accurately record and verify daily accounting transactions within the financial system
  • Prepare journal entries during the month-end close process, with a focus on COGS reclassifications
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts following month-end close
  • Compile and maintain reports for the Environmental Fund Authority, including packaging, batteries, and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
  • Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial data is complete and correctly reported
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality across accounting processes
  • Continuously expand your financial and accounting expertise through training and best practice sharing

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a multinational environment
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, with professional certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement
