The Delivery Manager (DM) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful delivery of software products along the value stream. Acting as the connective tissue between product management, engineering, design, and business stakeholders, the Delivery Manager ensures that value is delivered to customers efficiently, predictably, and with high quality.
This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery management, from planning and prioritization through execution and release, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs. They proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints. The Delivery Manager drives continuous improvement in delivery practices, fosters a culture of collaboration, coaches team members and others and ensures that teams are empowered, aligned, and focused on delivering business value.Core responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership -Own the delivery roadmap and execution plan across one or more product teams within the value stream. (Planning) Facilitate quarterly and sprint planning, capacity forecasting, and dependency management. (Oversight) Monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. (Risk Management) Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Alignment - Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering/Technology Leads, and Business Owners to align on priorities, scope, and timelines.

Metrics & Reporting:- Track and report on key delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, lead time, cycle time, predictability, quality).

Continuous Improvement: Drive retrospectives and improvement initiatives to optimize delivery flow and team performance.

Agile Coaching - Promote agile best practices and support teams in adopting lean and agile principles.

Data Dashboarding/Analytics - Support Teams to read and interpret their data and to visualize the appropriate metrics. Establish a mindset of data driven decisions
Must have:
- Proven experience in software delivery management, preferably in a scaled agile environment (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Spotify model).
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Leadership qualities with a servant leadership mindset, promoting team autonomy and empowerment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar.
- A very good command of written and spoken English is a must.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret delivery data and drive insights.
- Familiarity with value stream mapping and lean delivery principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI, data modelling and visualization is a plus
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Certifications such as SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or PMP are a plus
