ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team, part of Infrastructure and Cloud division, is responsible for the engineering and operation of LSEG's Group Engineering's core infrastructure services, including data centres, storage, private cloud, platforms, databases, and middleware. Our mission is to modernise and transform the experience of our customers and our own ways of working, by deploying automation and Platform-as-Product services, to enable increasingly efficient, scalable and secure infrastructure products that better support business operations and future transformation.
As a senior delivery manager, you will lead a small team to drive delivery optimisation across a range of large-scale strategic and tactical initiatives, helping IPE to meet its objectives, while delivering greater value to its customers and partners. You will act as a strategic liaison between IPE, broader programmes and our business partners– driving better alignment on business priorities and value-driven prioritisation of our Book of Work. You will create delivery structures and governance which enable IPE to better anticipate and respond across demand requirements, while transitioning from project-by-project thinking to continuous value delivery. You will develop needed reporting and insights required to visualise, control and assure the success of the delivery pipeline in IPE, thereby delivering measurable value through enhanced agility, visibility, and customer alignment. Your role will align to IPE's growing Transformation & Delivery function and provide you opportunities to contribute to pioneering critical initiatives, which seek to transform our Technologies and Operational Strategy.

Designing and Implementing Governance: Establish and implement forward-looking governance frameworks to enable effective oversight and control, that detects important details before they become partner concerns.
Strategic Delivery Management: create strategic delivery roadmaps that optimise business value, allocation of resource and investment, by improving end to end delivery pipelines from demand identification to value realisation, including shaping IPE portfolio structure
Capacity & Demand Planning: optimise and improve demand intake and prioritisation processes, and partner with business on end-to-end demand planning to ensure initiatives are strategically aligned, prioritised, and resourced optimally.
Investment optimisation: partner with engineering strategists and business teams to optimise infrastructure investment strategy, supporting business growth while enabling competitive advantage and cost optimisation
Strategic Business Partnership: build trusted strategic partnerships with business partners and broader delivery teams through collaborative planning, requirements shaping and cross-functional alignment that enables proactive delivery decisions and value-driven prioritisation.
Delivery excellence: Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain delivery momentum, alongside championing the adoption of Agile delivery practices that increase business value delivery
Reporting & Metrics: Develop clear, data-driven reporting and metrics, that not only measures delivery progress, but provides insights on delivery effectiveness, business value, customer satisfaction and improvement opportunities
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and own risks, interdependencies, and constraints across delivery initiatives, and focus on strategies which build resilience in delivery capabilities
Contribute to Continuous Improvement culture: driving continuous improvement of delivery, business relationships and strategic alignment through systematic assessment and enhancement of processes and partnerships
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
