This position is addressed to applicants already resident and with valid work permit in Romania at the time of application.

Main Responsibilities
The main responsibility is to supervise the execution of painting, insulation and refractory works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame.

  • Supervise Field joint Coating activities on-site in compliance with approved procedures in full respect of HSE and QA/QC, requirements;
  • Provide operation support during PQT at FJC Laboratory;
  • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel;
  • Assist subcontractors or assigned direct hiring personnel for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems;
  • Supervise the execution of painting, insulation and refractory works, checking that machineries/tools are properly used and maintained;
  • Identifying and solving the technical problems related to the field joint coating operations on the work site;
  • When required, support the Project team during the Qualification and production phases at Coating Plants, Fabrication Yards and Subcontractors facilities, supervising the activities and providing the Project team with the required feedback;
  • Provide assistance to the Field Joint Coating Engineer in the monitoring and recording of the FJC cycle time along the various working stations under Management request and in the production of FJC Reports.

Requirements

  • High-School/University technical degree;
  • English knowledge - mandatory medium level; advanced level will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of insulation techniques and ability to select the most suitable system depending on the design and the operative conditions of the project – advantage;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical project documents such as isometrics, standards for supports, P&IDs, piping arrangements, plot plants, alignment sheet, project installation procedures – advantage;
  • Capability to apply insulation, painting and refractory techniques – advantage.
