National Sales Manager.
National Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic development and management of national commercial activities related to
automotive antifreeze, specialty oils, industrial additives, stripping solutions, degreasers, and other professional detergents
. The role focuses on driving sales growth, expanding market presence, developing the distribution network, and leading the national sales team to achieve performance targets aligned with the company's strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy
- Ensure the development and market positioning of the company's solutions, including
automotive antifreeze, specialty oils, industrial additives, stripping solutions, degreasers, and professional detergents
, in line with the company's strategic objectives. - Analyze market trends and propose sales and profitability goals to the General Manager.
- Identify and attract new commercial partners for both product distribution and service collaboration.
- Participate in product development and the definition of technical-commercial services.
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging products in the field of professional automotive and industrial maintenance solutions.
Sales Management
- Build, lead, and manage the national sales team to meet or exceed performance KPIs.
- Provide strategic and commercial guidance to achieve key performance indicators such as revenue (CA), gross margin (MB), and operational profit (EBITDA).
- Develop and oversee pricing structures and technical-commercial offer strategies.
- Optimize sales channels to drive both intensive and extensive growth.
- Ensure comprehensive and efficient market coverage at the national level.
Operational Excellence
- Uphold the company's image and ensure consistent product representation in the market.
- Monitor contractual compliance of commercial partners.
- Identify obstacles affecting the implementation of the commercial plan and recommend adjustments.
- Contribute to defining and negotiating commercial agreements and contracts.
- Handle routine and unforeseen partner issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in operational and strategic meetings with the senior leadership team.
- Implement strategies to reduce slow-moving inventory and eliminate obsolete stock.
Partnerships & Supply Chain
- Identify and contract suppliers of raw materials and accessories necessary for the development of
automotive antifreeze, specialty oils, industrial additives, stripping solutions, degreasers, and professional detergents
. - Establish strategic partnerships with other companies within the industry.
- Support the integration of the company's products into international markets through collaboration with local distributors.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in a senior sales or commercial management role, preferably in the
automotive chemicals
,
lubricants
, or
industrial cleaning solutions
sectors. - Deep understanding of the Romanian market and relevant industry players.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and commercial strategy skills.
- Proven knowledge of sales metrics and financial performance indicators (CA, MB, EBITDA).
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex commercial operations effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently nationwide and occasionally abroad.
- Fluency in English and Romanian (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
