We're Hiring – General Manager for a New International Branded Hotel in Oradea (opening spring 2026)

Spark Hospitality is seeking an experienced and results-driven
General Manager
to lead the pre-opening and operational launch of a new
international branded hotel
in Oradea.

This is a unique opportunity to join at the earliest stage of the project and shape the culture, performance, and guest experience of a property designed to international standards.

About the Hotel:

Opening in spring 2026, the hotel will feature
90 stylish rooms
, 4 conference halls, a wellness & spa area, a restaurant, a café and private parking – designed to welcome both business and leisure travelers.

Your Role:

As General Manager
, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, building and leading a high-performing team, and ensuring the commercial success of the hotel in line with international brand standards. This role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and achieving ambitious performance and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pre-opening process, ensuring readiness for spring 2026 opening
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a motivated and engaged hotel team
  • Drive commercial results through effective sales, marketing, and revenue strategies
  • Ensure consistent delivery of guest satisfaction goals and service quality standards
  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including Rooms Division and Food & Beverage, ensuring smooth service delivery and profitability
  • Oversee financial performance, cost control, and budget compliance
  • Build strong relationships with guests, partners, and the local community
  • Maintain high standards of safety, security, and compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior hotel management role (preferably as General Manager or Deputy GM) within an international or reputable local brand
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and develop teams
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting performance and quality targets
  • Excellent understanding of hotel operations, including Rooms and F&B, revenue management, and guest service excellence
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English and Romanian
