We are looking for a Cost Analysis VA/VE Specialist for our Purchasing Hub - Group level.

Ebm-papst Group is the world's leading manufacturer of fans and motors.

What You'll Do:

  • Creation of calculations for manufacturing costs, KPA - purchased part price analyses of components (Generating cost transparency, identifying cost drivers, and highlighting cost reduction potential)
  • Representation and implementation of created calculations in cost discussions with purchasing and suppliers
  • Consulting and active negotiation support for line procurement and project buyers regarding investments or part prices
  • Analysis and validation of investments for component manufacturing based on cost breakdowns
  • Conducting supplier workshops in coordination with the relevant department
  • Conducting/Accompanying product clinics
  • Generating ideas for technical optimizations (materials, processes, or functions)

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in Lean -, Project Management, or Purchasing.
  • Solid technical knowledge.
  • Good knowledge in the calculation of construction prices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and risks.
  • Proficient in SAP-MM or other ERP and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • German and English are mandatory
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%) and intercultural
