Roles and Responsibilities

  • Witness, validate, and supervise testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) as per Project Specifications, relevant International Codes & Standards, and industry best practices.
  • Issuing the completion certification.
  • Schedule the system and equipment Commissioning Program, to ensure that contractual requirements are met in accordance with the issued overall Schedule and Construction Program of Work.
  • Perform a comprehensive Project/Design/Commission-ability review of the MEP systems (specification, drawings, detail, material acceptance, technical data sheet, etc.) to ensure quality & best practices are implemented.
  • Develop Commissioning Logic Diagrams.
  • Prepare/Review the Commissioning Plan, Testing Procedures, Commissioning Test packs, etc.
  • Prepare/Review Testing & Commissioning method statements.
  • Prepare/Review Commissioning Reports.
  • Prepare/Review the Operational & Maintenance Manuals, Training Plans & Agendas, Spare Part Lists, warranties.
  • Prepare the Site Observation Reports.
  • Maintain Commissioning Activity Schedules and Progress Trackers.
  • Conducting site walk-through to verify system readiness for Commissioning and inspect to identify anomalies and/or construction defects.
  • Witness and Validate Inspecting permanent works executed by the contractor on site and detailing any deficiencies/non-conformance and necessary corrective actions.
  • Supervise, testing and commissioning activities, project close out including acceptance of the work, contract vendor closeout and handover.
  • Attend the Technical and construction coordination meetings.
  • Chair the progress Commissioning Meetings, together with the Sub-contractors and Commissioning Team, for commissioning schedule, priorities and to highlight all the problems that may affect the Commissioning Process. Identify Milestones and Critical path.

Qualification & Educational Requirement:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields and Mechanical projects.
  • Smart professional experience in the HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and vertical transportation.
  • Mechanical engineering Bachelor's Degree.
  • Preferrable with Cx Certification from a recognized organization (CSA, NEBB, NFPA, etc.)
  • English on a working professional level.
  • Technical Troubleshooting.
