What you'll do

• Lead and maintain configuration management activities across system and software development projects.
• Ensure full compliance with the A-SPICE SUP.8 (Configuration Management) process area.
• Define, implement, and improve configuration management plans, procedures, and tools.
• Manage and control baselines, versions, and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support project teams in using Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence effectively for configuration tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure consistency and traceability of all configuration items.
• Monitor and audit configuration data to ensure accuracy and process adherence.
• Identify and propose process improvements based on lessons learned and project feedback.

What you need to be successful

• Proven experience in Configuration Management within the automotive industry or other regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of A-SPICE, especially SUP.8 Configuration Management.
• Proficiency in Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with baseline creation and version control strategies.
• Ability to grasp complex system lifecycles and interdependencies.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
