About the project

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical person to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records by maintaining and reconciling the general ledger. You will play a key part in the month-end and year-end close processes, prepare journal entries, and support financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Your Impact As A General Ledger

  • Perform full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations and periodic closings
  • Post transactions related to payroll, merchandise, rent and recurring entries
  • Handle various GL-related tasks as needed
  • Process daily bank statements (manual or electronic)
  • Maintain and reconcile cash book
  • Monitor invoice systems (e.g. P1), verify and post invoices (with or without interfaces)
  • Maintain customer master data and manage document filing for non-integrated systems
  • Reconcile AR accounts and manage the dunning process
  • Post and review employee expense reports
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Manage accruals and deferrals (RAP)
  • Execute monthly and year-end closings
  • Post accruals and evaluate work in progress
  • Prepare internal reports, reporting packages, and financial statement notes
  • Prepare annual financial statements under HGB and tax law
