About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep energy trading experience to play a key role in shaping and optimizing our software solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring our products are aligned with real market expectations and industry best practices. Working closely with traders, product owners, and development teams, you will help turn complex requirements into efficient, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

What You`ll Do:

  • Lead the analysis and definition of requirements for new and existing software initiatives in the energy trading domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.
  • Develop clear and concise business requirement documents, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Partner with the development team to translate requirements into robust, scalable software solutions.
  • Act as a communication bridge and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.
  • Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.

What We`re Looking for:

  • Solid experience in Energy Trading, Risk Management, and Power Purchase Agreements.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
