Position Summary:

As an IT Business Analyst at Premier Energy, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our IT and business teams, ensuring that our technology solutions align with the company's objectives. You will work closely with organizational stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and implement solutions primarily using SAP ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This position is key to optimizing our operations and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective technology integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Analyze and map current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements through system enhancements or new implementations.
  • Lead or support the configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP ERP and Dynamics CRM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with IT teams to successfully integrate systems and data across various platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to propose innovative solutions and improve system performance.
  • Participate in project management activities, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment for IT initiatives.

Skills:

  • Broad experience in requirements engineering for IT solutions as part of project management teams and working directly with the engineers.
  • Broad experience in detailing and creating User Stories, concepts, and specifications for delivery teams. Previous experience working as a Product Owner in agile teams is preferred, working in scaled agile environments is a plus;
  • Ability to assist with the operational and activities presentations to executive management and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules. Provide periodic and ad-hoc analyses and reporting in support of executive management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within the utilities or energy sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
  • Proficient in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management experience is a plus, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
