This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timelymonth-end closing, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to the group's finance functionbased in Cyprus.As part of a dynamic, fast-scaling environment, you will collaborate closely with the RevenueAccountant, AP/AR team, and Finance Manager to establish accounting processes, strengthenfinancial controls, and support system integration across multiple platforms and jurisdictions.Responsibilities within the team:Month-End & ReportingOwn the month-end closing process for multiple entities, ensuring completeness and accuracy ofledgersPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany recharges, andadjustmentsPerform reconciliations for key balance sheet and P&L; accounts (cash, PSPs, intercompany,deferred revenue, etc.)Ensure alignment between gaming platform data, PSP reconciliations, and ERP financial recordsProduce the trial balance and monthly management reports in accordance with IFRS / grouppoliciesCoordinate and deliver monthly reporting packages to the Cyprus Finance team (includingvariance analysis and commentary).Process & Control DevelopmentSupport the Finance Manager in building and documenting accounting processes and internalcontrols for new entitiesAssist in ERP implementation and system integration (gaming platform, PSP, bank feeds)Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities within the close cycleMaintain compliance with internal and external audit requirements.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the Revenue Accountant to validate daily reconciliations and revenuerecognitionCollaborate with the AP/AR Officer to ensure all invoices, payments, and receipts are bookedbefore the month-endLiaise with Group Finance, Tax, and Compliance teams to ensure all reporting and regulatorydeadlines are met.Facing the challenges of the role requires:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA / ACA in progress or completedpreferred)3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in iGaming, fintech, or multi-entity environmentsStrong knowledge of IFRS and month-end close best practicesExperience with ERP systems (SAP Business One, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365)Advanced Excel and strong data reconciliation skillsExcellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingStrong English communication skills (written and verbal).Nice to HavePrevious experience in an iGaming or payment service provider environment.Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and cross-border reporting (Cyprus / EU jurisdictions).Understanding of PSP transaction flows and revenue recognition for online gaming.
