Our client is a global technology provider delivering advanced software solutions for mobile network management, optimization, and analytics. The team focuses on complex SON implementations, including installations, integrations, upgrades, and customizations of network management and automation platforms.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will combine deep domain expertise with technical leadership in designing intelligent, scalable, and cloud-native telecom solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in Telecom Network Management software development.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SON or RAN automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Self-Organizing Network concepts, including Mobility Load Balancing (MLB), Coverage & Capacity Optimization, and Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR).
• Expertise in development and prototyping of machine learning models using Python-based frameworks such as PyTorch and Scikit-learn.
• Ability to evaluate and implement suitable machine learning approaches, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning methods.
• Manage model training processes, including optimal hyperparameter tuning for improved performance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like OpenShift, Azure or AWS.
• Excellent understanding of RAN Configuration Parameters and KPIs for 4G/5G networks.
• Experience working with Network Management APIs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vendor-specific SON tools or open-source network optimization frameworks.
• Exposure to OSS integration, NFV/SDN, and Service Assurance platforms.
• Previous leadership in R&D environments or open telecom initiatives (e.g., O-RAN, TIP).

Job responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design scalable, robust, cloud-native AI/ML architectures to support the full lifecycle of machine learning models, from data collection and preprocessing through to deployment and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop comprehensive pipelines for data collection, cleaning, transformation, model training, and cloud-native deployment. Design and implement AI/ML-based algorithms for real-time performance tuning, fault prediction, and anomaly detection.
• Define integration strategies with existing OSS/BSS and centralized RAN management platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, RAN, Core, Cloud) to deliver scalable, cloud-native SON components.
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical leadership and roadmap planning.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation practices.
• Participate in customer workshops and support solution customization as needed..
