Within "L&H operations" crew, you work as a dual-role Release Manager and Integration Lead on hELIOS product which is a strategic platform used globally by L&H markets to manage Life Individual business.

You are responsible of coordinating and managing software releases and integration activities across multiple teams and stakeholders. This includes challenging business and technical requirements, contributing to solution design and architecture, and ensuring alignment with IT standards. You oversee CI/CD pipeline execution, corrective and evolutive maintenance, and incident management (Level 2 & 3 support). You monitor service KPIs, propose improvement actions to enhance quality and reduce technical debt, and ensure the completeness of technical documentation. You also review key deliverables and report regularly to the Solution Owner on progress, risks, and issues..

Tech & Data (~200 employees across the globe) provides products, services, and support to all SCOR Group worldwide. The Tech & Data organization is an Agile matricial organization. Crews are supported by Chapters (System Engineering, Cloud, Architecture, DevOps, …) and both Technical and M&C teams fully dedicated to the delivery of SCOR products, services and support.

Within "L&H operations" crew, you work as Technical Lead on hELIOS product which is a strategic platform used globally by L&H markets to manage Life Individual business (Data exchange, bordereau management, medical UW, claims, individual retrocession)..

You are responsible of managing and coordinating all aspects of software release and integration activities across multiple teams, environments, and stakeholders. This includes challenging and validating both business requirements and non-functional enablers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives. You actively contribute to the design phase and help define the global architecture of the solution, ensuring consistency with IT standards and best practices.

You oversee the planning and execution of releases through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance. You coordinate integration efforts between internal teams, external providers, and business units, resolving open points with the support of IT subject matter experts. During the project run phase, you manage corrective and evolutive maintenance activities, ensuring operational stability and responsiveness.

You are also in charge of incident management, providing Level 2 support and coordinating Level 3 escalation when needed. You monitor service performance through KPIs and dashboards, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance service quality and reduce technical debt. You ensure that all technical documentation produced by external providers is complete, accurate, and up to date.

Additionally, you review key deliverables—including functional specifications, architecture documents, technical designs, test plans, and deployment packages—to ensure they meet business expectations and comply with SCOR IT standards. You report regularly to the Solution Owner, providing clear visibility on progress, risks, and issues, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties and responsibilities

You need to :

  • Requirements & Design: Analyze and challenge business and non-functional requirements; contribute to solution design and architecture.
  • Release & Integration Coordination: Manage release planning, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-team integration activities; ensure smooth collaboration with IT SMEs and external providers.
  • Maintenance & Support: Oversee corrective and evolutive maintenance during the run phase; manage incidents (Level 2 & 3 support) and ensure service continuity.
  • Quality & Documentation: Review deliverables (functional, technical, test plans) for compliance with business needs and IT standards; ensure completeness of technical documentation.
  • Monitoring & Improvement: Track service KPIs, propose action plans to improve quality and reduce technical debt.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Solution Owner on progress, risks, and issues.

Required experience & competencies

Experience:

  • 8+ years in IT, including 3+ years as Tech Lead on complex, integrated systems.
  • Proven experience in release management and integration, preferably in the insurance sector.

Technical Expertise:

  • Architecture modeling (REST, SOAP, API), Java J2EE development, and front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, JSON).
  • High-security environments: OAuth2, MFA, identity management.
  • Integration & deployment tools: ActiveMQ, SQL Server, Tomcat, Docker, ELK, Consul, GIT, Azure DevOps, Databricks.
  • Cloud infrastructure: Microsoft Azure.
  • CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps practices.

Release Management:

  • Planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across environments.
  • Management of corrective and evolutive maintenance during run phase.
  • Incident handling (Level 2 & 3), KPI monitoring, and service quality improvement.
  • Review of deliverables and alignment with business requirements and IT standards.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Ability to lead and align Tech Leads, developers, and external providers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills promoting collaboration and transparency.
  • Experience in international and matrixed environments.
  • Strong relationships with Tech & Data SMEs across functions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Support of business-critical applications under SLA constraints.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex issues with urgency.

Methodologies:

  • Deep understanding of Agile practices and Business-IT collaboration.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional integration and release processes.

Required Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or a related analytical field (engineering schools or equivalent).
