Digital Workplace brings together all the services and tools of the work environment: the personal workstation of course, but also the smartphone, the corporate social network, communication and collaborative tools such as messaging, Teams, SharePoint, etc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in PySpark. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing ETL pipelines, managing CI/CD operations and supervise the activity in Romania. You will work in an Agile environment and collaborating with international teams.andnbsp;

What you will do:

Data Engineering andamp; Development

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines usingandnbsp;PySparkandnbsp;within theandnbsp;Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera);
• Performandnbsp;data modelingandnbsp;to support efficient data processing and analytics;
• Develop and maintainandnbsp;Python scriptsandnbsp;andandnbsp;Unix shell scriptsandnbsp;for automation and data manipulation;
• Integrate and manage data flows usingandnbsp;Kafkaandnbsp;for real-time data streaming (produce and consume via topics).

DataOps andamp; CI/CD

• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; Ensure the smooth operation of theandnbsp;CI/CD DevOps chain, includingandnbsp;Jenkins,andnbsp;JFrog, andandnbsp;Ansible;
• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and deployments to maintain high availability and performance.

Leadership andamp; Collaboration

• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; Supervise and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support;
• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;Participate in workshops and cross-functional meetings to define and implement new data use cases;
• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;Contribute to theandnbsp;definition of new analytical use cases, identifying relevant data and transforming it for reporting;
• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives);
• andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;Conduct training sessions and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field;
• Strong proficiency inandnbsp;PySpark,andnbsp;Python, andandnbsp;Unix scripting;
• Experience withandnbsp;Kafka,andnbsp;CI/CD toolsandnbsp;(Jenkins, JFrog, Ansible), andandnbsp;data modeling;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and theandnbsp;ability to make technical proposals;
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and training.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and usability.

• Bachelorandrsquo;s or Masterandrsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field;
• Fluent English is a must; French will be a plus, but not mandatory;
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data storytelling principles.
