As we are expanding with Nissan brand, we are looking for our newest member for
Senior Accountant
position.

What will be your roles and responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of accounting and taxation of the company
  • Ensure local bookkeeping for all company transactions
  • Monthly analysis and reconciliation of accounts (general and analytical)
  • Responsible for the process of monthly/quarterly and annual closings, including all necessary accounting bookings, and accounts reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of all tax returns required by Romanian law such us: VAT (D300), Tax on profit (D101), D100, D390, D394, SAFT etc.
  • Preparation and submission of other declarations to Romanian authorities such as NBR, Statistical institute, Intrastate
  • Management of relationship with local accounting firm for our entity and interaction with tax authorities
  • Guarantee reciprocity of the accounts with the accounting of our accounting firm
  • Implementation of reporting on the controls for the Financial Department
  • Supports continuous improvements of financial processes, propose solutions and implements change to achieve effectiveness
  • Carry out new projects as they arise in the course of business
  • Monitors financial indicators and reports them
  • Ensuring the application of the accounting process, procedures, and current accounting standards according to statutory regulations as well as group requirements.
  • Adhoc tasks and reports as requested by superior and/or according to company requirements

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • University degree in Economics or Finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar position
  • Experience in full range of accounting
  • Proven knowledge in Accounting and Romanian tax legislation area
  • Proactive, can-do and hands-on attitude, good problem-solving skill
  • Precise, accurate way of working, reliable
  • Fluency in English and Romanian
  • Knowledge of Navision system (Business Central) is considered a plus
