Bonus+
is an application to calculate the customer bonus for power and gas contracts sold to retail customers in Germany. It significantly impacts on our EBIT and is used by our sales channel managers regularly. By calculating several types of Bonus values, Bonus+ enables our channel managers to make the right decision at the right time. The application is part of our Digital Sales Platform and has interfaces to sales as well as different internal systems.

We are looking for new colleagues that will develop and operate this application, design, and develop APIs and work with the product owner to understand the requirements.

Your Role

In your role, you will apply strong consulting skills to assess IT/digital needs, challenges or systems, deliver strategic technology guidance, and lead clients through effective digital transformation initiatives.

• Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines:
  Design, build, and optimize robust ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• DBT Modeling and Data Cleaning:
  Write and maintain DBT models for data transformation, cleansing, and quality assurance to support analytics and reporting use cases.
• Database Management in Snowflake:
  Manage and optimize Snowflake data structures, including schema design and output table formats, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Operational Support and Issue Resolution:
  Monitor data workflows, identify and debug data issues, and implement fixes quickly to maintain reliable data delivery.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
  Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer

Your Profile

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and DBT.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting (e.g., Python).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience with monitoring and debugging data pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to assess complex IT/digital challenges, develop structured, pragmatic solutions that align with client objectives.
• Strong communication skills, with clarity in both verbal and written formats, ensuring effective engagement across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Trusted advisor mindset, committed to building strong client relationships, adapting to change, and consistently delivering value in dynamic IT/digital environments.
