Our client is on a mission to modernize the veterinary industry through innovative, customer-driven technology. Their cloud-based platform connects pet owners with veterinary clinics, helping providers streamline operations and improve patient outcomes.

We're looking for a
Senior Data Engineer
who thrives in startup environments and is excited by the challenge of helping customers onboard with clean, accurate, and well-structured data.

This role is
available only in Iași
and involves an
employment contract (CIM), with hybrid
work model (2 days per week on-site).

What You'll Do:

  • Build data pipelines with
    AWS Glue
    ,
    Python
    and
    MySQL
    to onboard veterinary clinics.
  • Lead data migrations from legacy systems, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Enhance ETL workflows
    through automation and validation tools.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Mentor teammates and support planning and best practices.

Your Experience:

  • Strong experience with
    AWS data tools
    (Glue, S3) and large datasets.
  • Advanced
    SQL
    and
    Python
    ; clean, testable coding skills.
  • Skilled in
    MySQL
    and migrating data from external systems.
  • Background in
    data architecture
    and
    ETL optimization
    .
  • Familiar with tools like
    Databricks
    or
    Snowflake
    ; open to learning new tech.
  • Agile mindset
    and collaborative approach.
