The Role

We're looking for a Mid-Senior Project Manager with proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, dynamic software projects. The candidate must be located in Romania. The work model is hybrid. This is a full-time position, not project-based, but we're currently hiring specifically for a US based high-impact project that we believe is exciting enough to tell you about.

The Project

This is a long-term project for a US-based client, involving a distributed team of 15+ people. You'll work alongside internal team members and external collaborators. The project has an Agile workflow and is very dynamic, so adaptability is key. You'll be the central point of coordination, making sure the team stays aligned, timelines are met, and the client is well-informed. We use the Atlassian suite to manage the project. The team is technically strong and autonomous, so you won't be micromanaging — your leadership will be about clarity, coordination, and consistency.

What You'll do:

  • Plan, manage, and monitor the execution of software development projects
  • Coordinate between developers, QA, BA, and external collaborators
  • Maintain project timelines, manage risks, and communicate status effectively
  • Help the team remain focused and productive through changes
  • Collaborate with clients to understand priorities and manage expectations
  • Ensure processes (Agile or otherwise) are followed and refined over time
