Procurement Specialist for Rail Infrastructure Projects (m/F)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics or from a technical university (i.e. civil engineering / mechanical engineering or similar) or any other university with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within rail infrastructure, but it is not mandatory condition
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Very good writing and communication skills in Romanian and English language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Tasks
- Implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements while optimizing costs.
- Identify potential suppliers / subcontractors, conduct suppliers' / subcontractors' evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with tender and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials / services.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality and reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.
