Field Service Engineer - Growth Emerging Market, Romania

About the Role:

We are looking for an Field Service Engineer, with 1 to 2 years of experience in Field Service (medical field experience preferred).

They will spend most of time supporting Romania, availability to support other European and Growth Emerging Market Countries will be requested.

The person will give technical support for different Business Units and clients are mainly hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintenance and installation of medical capital equipment in the clinical environment
  • Performing technical troubleshooting for all product lines of Boston Scientific Capital Equipment
  • Development and maintenance of customer relations
  • Info sharing/exchange with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, in particular sales and technical services
  • Maintaining adequate service documentation and records to support traceability
  • Maintaining adequate product competence (skills & knowledge) and actively attending all required trainings at our EMEA Training Centres in Kerkrade and Istanbul
  • Maintain provided service tools and materials in operational state
  • Working in conformance with the Boston Scientific corporate guidelines, processes and procedures

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, medical engineering or similar relevant education
  • 1 -2 years of experience as field service engineer, preferably in medical companies (not mandatory)
  • Strong customer orientated

  • Readiness to travel around Romania and around Europe & Growth Emerging Market countries high flexibility (average of 80% of time on field)

  • Fluent in Romanian English is must.

  • Able to work in a multi-functional and multicultural environment
