The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Field Engineer to join our technical team. The IT Field Engineer is a critical, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the optimal implementation, performance and reliability of our IT SW & HW products across various client or branch locations. This position involves frequent travel to provide on-site and remote technical support, including the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking equipment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to end-users.

Your Impact:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at client/branch locations.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Roche digital products, computer systems, network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), and peripherals.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex networking connectivity issues, system failures, and application problems.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and health checks to minimize downtime.

  • Document all service and repair actions accurately and timely using our reporting system.

  • Manage local inventories of IT equipment and spare parts.

Who You are:

  • You hold a degree in computer science

  • The experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or dedicated Field Engineer role.

  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common business applications.

  • Strong practical knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network troubleshooting.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical users.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SQL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications) are a strong plus.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a willingness to travel.
