BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGER WORKDAY HCM AND RECRUITING

Responsibilities

  • Supports the functional stream lead in evaluating new requests and solutions, ensuring alignment with Workday guidelines, assessing cross-stream impacts, and supporting vendor evaluations;
  • Supports stream lead in preparing decision papers;
  • Supports stream lead in facilitation of community meetings;
  • Designs, configures, and tests Workday solutions within the respective business process stream/Workday module, while reviewing current processes and recommending improvements based on data insights;
  • Drives the ongoing overall harmonization and optimization of business processes, focusing on a lean process setup;
  • Strengthens the use of the designed processes;
  • Ensures process flow, e.g. regularly cleans Workday admin inbox;
  • Maintains master data in Workday and connected systems (e.g. companies, locations, employee reviews templates, compensation framework);
  • Takes responsibility for projects together with the functional lead to achieve project completion in scope, time and budget;
  • Ensures the timely and quality completion of defined projects (e.g. roadmap projects, acquisitions) / tasks / deliverables;
  • Supports change management activities within the respective process stream (e.g. documentation, mock-ups);
  • Fosters a data-driven culture by enhancing data literacy within Workday streams, developing reports and dashboards, supporting testing activities, and ensuring data quality and reliability;
  • Solves 3rd level support tickets or guides junior colleagues in solving 3rd level support tickets;
  • Solves tickets and handles errors for Workday and other connected 3rd party solutions (e.g. multi-poster solution for Recruiting, learning management system) in a timely manner. Involves and manages external AMS partner if needed;
  • Initiates and supports data mass uploads on behalf of the BG named support contacts;
  • Ensures compliance with legal (e.g. GDPR, works council) and Freudenberg internal regulations together with functional stream lead;
  • Educates the Workday stream communities and the streams leads (GWST) about new technical features and supports Freudenberg internal Workday trainings (e.g. reviews of training documents, acts as a trainer for key users);
  • Cooperates with external partners and networks with Workday and other Workday customers;
  • Stays informed about the Workday roadmap and has latest knowledge about the content of Workday releases and technical features in the module responsible;
  • Documents the technical configuration of new features/processes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in the field of Business Informatics, HR Management, Business Administration or a comparable education;
  • Workday Pro certification in HCM / Recruiting / Talent & Performance / Compensation;
  • Fluent in English, additional language is beneficial (e.g. German);
  • Practical experience in management and optimization of business processes;
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of HR related systems and processes;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the configuration of modern cloud HCM systems, ideally Workday (Core HCM, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Optimization, etc.);
  • Workday reporting skills;
  • Experience in Workday implementations (either as a customer or an implementation partner);
  • Project management skills;
  • Effective time and self-management;
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way;
  • Analytical, structured way of working and high problem-solving ability;
  • Interest in interdisciplinary and international teamwork;
  • Reliability, flexibility, resilience, and friendliness;
  • Curiosity and understanding for innovations in the field of IT and HR;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
