What's Exciting About The Role
The
Regional Payroll Manager
is responsible for the payroll for all Verifone employees in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EMEA). This manager oversees a team of payroll analysts, who ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing of all employees in the EMEA region.
- Partners with our payroll vendors to ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations including withholding, reporting, and remittance.
- Supports the payroll analyst in closing escalated inquiries by employees and managers.
- Ensures all payroll policies are current on the Verifone One Intranet Platform.
- Collaborate with all applicable internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
- Ensure accurate and regular payroll audits.
- Recruit, train, and develop the payroll analysts.
- Complete Path to Success performance evaluation ratings of the payroll analysts, and support them in goal setting and completion.
- Promote a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring they adhere to company SLAs.
- Oversee regional payroll budgets and purchase order input and management in Oracle.
- Uphold the company's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Supports payroll analysts to ensure Service Now tickets are answered timely and accurately
Skills and Experience We Desire
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in payroll and benefits with at least 3 years in a people management role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and the laws and regulations within the countries of the EMEA region.
- Impeccable leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lead and develop a team across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
