What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Connectivity Support Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in monitoring, triaging, and escalating network connectivity incidents. In this position, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring that network issues are promptly addressed to maintain business continuity. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of networking who are eager to contribute to our dynamic IT operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor Network Alerts: Continuously monitor network performance and connectivity using various monitoring tools.
  • Incident Triage & Logging: Quickly assess incoming alerts or incidents, log them into our incident management system, and prioritize based on impact.
  • Escalation Management: Route critical network issues to appropriate technical teams (e.g., network engineers) for immediate resolution.
  • Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear communication with technical teams and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all incidents, including issue details, actions taken, and resolution status.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Perform initial diagnostics and validate issues before escalating further.

What You Need To Know/have

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a networking or IT support role, especially in incident management, technical support, or network monitoring.
  • English & French proficiency is a must (minimum B2), another European language would be considered a plus (Spanish, German)
  • Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts like IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Network Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools for identifying network issues and monitoring connectivity.
  • Ticketing Systems: Proficiency in incident management platforms for logging, tracking, and escalating incidents.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Ability to perform basic troubleshooting, such as checking device connectivity, verifying network cables, and reviewing system status reports.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking to assess network issues quickly and direct them to the correct team for resolution.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders. Nice to have: Exposure to Legacy and IP voice technology (e.g., familiarity with VoIP, and related network infrastructure).
