Job Description:

Summary & Purpose of the Position

The Medical Advisor/MSL Neurology  is a hybrid role (60% field and 40% office-based), acting as a scientific expert for both external and internal stakeholders. By establishing him/herself as a trusted source of objective competence and scientific expertise, the MA/MSL Neurology helps to effectively address unmet medical education needs. The primary responsibilities focus on the three pillars of Medical Affairs: Scientific Exchange, Evidence Generation, and Evidence Dissemination. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Deep scientific expertise on Ipsen's products for neurology area, to appropriately exchange relevant information and insights with stakeholders within Romania.
  • Respond to all medical information inquiries related to allocated products with integrity, compliance, and adherence to legal, regulatory, and Ipsen guidelines, policies & procedures.
  • Represent Ipsen Medical Affairs during scientific conferences, medical educational events, and medical meetings related to neurology area.
  • Build and cultivate working relationships across internal stakeholders while maintaining full compliance with relevant company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work efficiently and balance all work to enhance performance and execute local medical strategies within planned timelines.
  • Engage in continuous independent learning within the neurology area.
  • Review the promotional and nonpromotional materials, medical training of internal stakeholders and other activities related to medical advisory role. The MA/MSL must maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific information.

Knowledge, Experience, Skills

  • Previous experience in Medical department of multinational company is required (2-3 years), and ideally in neurology area
  • Be able to analyze data for purpose of understanding clinical studies' results
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirement relevant to pharmaceutical industry.
  • Problem-solving mindset, scientific oriented person, focused on learning, sharing knowledge, very good presentation and communication skills.

Education 

  • Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry university degree

Language(s) (essential)

  • Fluent English – written and spoken
  • Romanian native-speaker

Candidate must have a valid driving license & be able to travel around Romania, 60% of the working time.
