Job PurposeMedical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as a bridge between Chiesi and healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders in the medical community. MSLs play a crucial role in disseminating accurate and up-to-date scientific information about the company's products, therapies, and areas of research.
MSLs work on field and in cross-departmental projects, providing excellent customer service to the medical community through in-depth scientific interactions, presentations and detailed clinical data.
The MSL role will have national coverage and will be part of an international team - RD CEE; therefore, the right candidate must have great travel availability.
Main ResponsibilitiesKeep up to date with relevant clinical development of the products and the disease areas to act as an 'expert medical resource'Provide high quality, accurate and timely scientific advice (proactive or reactive based on the local code) to healthcare professionals regarding the company's products and its associated disease areasOrganize and perform workshops, presentations, webinars, symposia (scientific briefings) Support by responding to specific queries regarding marketed or in clinical development productsIdentify and develop professional relationships with the healthcare community and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), in the dedicated therapeutic areasReport and monitor feedback from HCPs on scientific issuesSupport scientific pre/post-launch-activities in accordance with local legislative regulationsProvide scientific education to stakeholders by constant interactionsProvide support to local and international trials/studiesSupport in training programs for HCPsParticipate in corporate projectsSupport the organization and execution of advisory boardsSupport competitive intelligence by representing Chiesi at national and international scientific eventsActs as a member of international Chiesi GroupsGather and answer if the case to any medical inquiries What are we looking for
At least 5 years of experience in promotion in the pharmaceutical industry
Background: human or veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, bioengineering/biotechnology, biochemistry/chemistry or biology.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness, but also good learning ability
Good ability to organize and prioritize
Ability to work independently/autonomy
Fast adaptability in changing conditions
English language at least intermediate level
