We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator with a strong background in Linux system administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing web servers, databases, virtualization, containerization, and automation. You will work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and IT security to ensure the stability, security, and performance of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities


• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers in production and development environments.


• Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.), ensuring high availability and performance.


• Administer relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB etc.).


• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.


• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, or KVM.


• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible.


• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure resources.


• Ensure security best practices, perform updates, and manage access control.


• Set up and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.


• Collaborate with development team to improve deployment processes.


• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements


• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.


• Strong expertise in web server administration (Apache, Nginx).


• Proficiency in database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).


• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Proxmox).


• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.


• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancing).


• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix).


• Understanding of security best practices (firewall configuration, SSL/TLS, access control).


• Understanding of version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub).


• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.

Nice to Have


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).


• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation.


• Understanding of logging and observability tools (ELK Stack, Graylog).
