We are looking for an
Audit Supervisor
who will
coordinate, manage and review audit teams, maintain client relationship, develop new client relationships securing high quality services provided by the TGS team according to clients' expectations and compliance with all related audit & accounting regulations and internal procedures.︆︀︌︀︄︁︌︋​︂︆︄︅​︁︁︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅︊︄︈︌︊︂

The ideal candidate should prove:

  • Experience of (a) International Financial & Romanian Reporting Standards, (b) International Standards of Audit, (c) Risk Management Policies and (d) International Code of Ethics;
  • 5+ years of
    relevant working experience
  • Strong business awareness;
  • Flexibility in relation to traveling;
  • Flexibility in relation to on-the-job trainings and other trainings delivered in the program of continuous learning set up by the company;
  • Proved fluency in English (i.e. Proficiency Level or equivalent);
  • Computer literacy (i.e. MS Office) emphasis on Excel, IDEA and Power Point;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team oriented skills;
  • People management skills.

Job descriptions

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide audit related advice on financial statements both under IFRS or RAS as well as on control and procedural related issues, to a variety of clients subject to approval by Manager/Partner;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and recurrent audit clients;
  • Work and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality service;
  • Perform the planning and risk assessment procedures and budget on most engagements;
  • Provide an on-site coordination role for audit clients including planning, day-to-day control of the audit team, liaise with clients and complete audit engagements;
  • Supervise, coach and train the junior audit team members (especially on-the-job training) and perform regular appraisals;
  • Review the audit work of more junior staff;
  • Manage more clients concurrently;
  • Monitor, review and approve timesheets;
  • Manage larger and more complex audit engagements;
  • Prioritise work and meet deadlines;
  • Have Excel proficiency and use audit tools competently (e.g., Caseware, IDEA);
  • Follow-up with clients on outstanding invoices;
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge;
  • Identify significant risk areas;
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and be involved in at least 3 go-to-market initiatives;
  • Produce deliverables including draft audit reports for Partner review and approval;
  • Complete own timesheets in time and comply with the allocated hourly budget of the assigned tasks, control team's budget and take corrective actions in case of any deviation, aligning accordingly with Manager/ Partner in charge;
  • Support other administrative and/ or operational tasks as assigned by the Manager/ Partner in charge.
