Mission

Provide high-quality accounting processes on behalf of ING.

Take the responsibility to propose improvements.

Ensure that ING's general accounting entries and related reports are correctly presented in liaison with ING's Finance department.

Your Day to Day

Supervise general accounting processes related to Accounts Payables, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Accruals.

You're ahead of the accounting principles, perform testing flow and work together with the responsible persons across the bank to implement any updates of processes or applications in scope for day-to-day tasks.

Act as subject matter expert in various finance and other change initiatives, to establish any impact in other accounting reports.

Take responsibility of control owner and supervise the processes performed by the team.

Contributes to any updates/ improvements of accounting processes.

Makes familiar with and applies ING group policies regarding accounting;

Is involved in the formulation, update, and observance of internal controls regarding SOX controls.

Provides support to internal and external requests with information and explanations related to general accounting processes.

Keeps himself/herself updated with the changes in legal requests (Romanian and international developments) and assesses their impact for ING Romania.

What you bring to the team

Solid knowledge of accounting.

IFRS knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in economics.

Minimum 4-year experience in tax advisory (Big 4 is a plus), additional experience in similar position of a bank / company in the financial sector represents a plus.

Advances computer literacy in: Excel, SQL, PowerBi.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

High degree of objectivity and integrity, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, able to deal with a wide range of stakeholders, proactive, well organized, open and honest, teamwork and cross-teams cooperation.

Ability to cope with a developing environment, good planning and organizing skills.

Client-oriented and "can-do" attitude, initiative.
