Credit Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance and credit risk teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting on collections performance, overdue accounts, and payment trends.

You will be responsible for collaborating with finance, credit risk, and collections teams to improve reporting efficiency and transparency. This includes analyzing historical data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvements.

Additionally, you will support the month-end and year-end closing process by providing required AR and credit data, as well as assist in automation projects and system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on collections performance, overdue accounts, and payment trends, credit exposure, bad debt.
  • Collaborate with finance, credit risk, and collections teams to improve reporting efficiency and transparency.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process by providing required AR and credit data.
  • Assist in automation projects and system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Credit/AR function, preferably in an organization with annual revenue in excess of $100M and with various types/channels of customers.
  • Ability to work with a large volume of data.
  • Be comfortable making opinions known and able to back up with facts and objective arguments.
  • Professional demeanor with ability to negotiate and reach a consensus.
  • Completion of secondary education (University degree in business related field or certification from a credit training institution).
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
